Ideas, skills and the courage to act – “Youth Innovations in Practice 3”

Ideas, skills and the courage to act – “Youth Innovations in Practice 3”

The 3rd edition of the “Youth Innovations in Practice” project – how to spark entrepreneurship.

At the turn of 2025 and 2026, we supported young people in developing their own ideas, building entrepreneurial skills, and learning how to present their concepts effectively to others.

As part of the project, participants took part in a series of workshops led by Paulina Kowalke, where they explored the Human-Centred Design method and developed their projects from the idea stage, through prototyping, to communication and storytelling. The concepts created included platforms supporting the development of passions, as well as creative tools using artificial intelligence to design games.

To help young people prepare even better for presenting their initiatives, we also organised public speaking workshops led by Mateusz Ostaszewski. Participants worked on managing stress, building self-confidence and communicating their ideas effectively.

The final stage of the activities was the Young Sharks Pitch event, during which secondary school students presented their projects to a jury made up of entrepreneurs and experts. Each pitch concluded with professional feedback, and the best ideas were awarded Empik gift vouchers.

We would like to thank all participants, experts and partners for co-creating a space where young people can develop their entrepreneurship, creativity and courage to bring their own ideas to life.

This project was carried out with financial support from the Gdańsk Economic Development Foundation, which is funded by InvestGDA.
