Road to Slush 2026: Applications Now Open for Pomeranian Startups
Startups from Pomerania can now apply for Road to Slush 2026. Selected teams will take part in the Investor Ready programme and then join a business mission to the Slush conference in Helsinki, with 80% of participation costs covered. Applications are open until 11 September.
Every year, Slush brings thousands of founders, investors, venture capital representatives, technology companies and business partners from around the world to Helsinki. This year’s edition will take place from 17 to 20 November, and startups from Pomerania can prepare for the event through Road to Slush 2026, delivered as part of Gdańsk Bay Tech.
In 2025, we attended Slush together with startups and partners from the Pomeranian region. Building on that experience, we have developed a dedicated preparation pathway designed to help this year’s participants make better use of the conversations, meetings and business opportunities available during the event.
Preparation starts before the trip
Road to Slush participants will take part in Investor Ready – a series of activities designed to prepare them for conversations with investors, clients and international partners.
The programme will include workshops, individual consultations, work on defining the objectives of the trip and preparation for specific meetings. Participants will also take part in Gdańsk Bay Tech Access Day, the business mission to Helsinki and a follow-up session after returning
Our ambition is to ensure that, before Slush, every team knows what it is looking for, who it wants to meet and what business outcome it wants to achieve.
What will selected startups receive?
- preparation through the Investor Ready programme,
- individual consultations and support in defining the objectives of the trip,
- support in preparing for meetings with investors, clients and partners,
- participation in the business mission and Slush 2026,
- post-event support,
- 80% funding towards participation costs.
The funding covers, among other things, flights, local transport in Helsinki, three nights’ accommodation with breakfast, insurance and a Slush Startup Pass.
Who are we looking for?
The programme is open to startups from Pomerania that are considering the next stages of their development: attracting investment, acquiring new clients or partners, entering international markets and scaling their business.
Road to Slush is aimed at companies that want to treat their presence in Helsinki as a concrete business step and are ready to prepare for their meetings in advance.

Completing the online application form does not finalise the application process. The required signed documents must also be submitted by 11 September.
