STARTER STUDENT HUB – meet Marta Pągielska, co-creator of an app that supports mental health
On March 24, 2026, the third Q&A business inspiration meeting will be held . Marta Pągielska – co-founder of DepressionControlApp, a technology project supporting mental health in academia – will be the guest of the event.
Marta Pągielska is a computer scientist and mathematician, a doctoral student at the University of Gdansk in the area of theoretical chemistry, a long-term NCN fellow in the GAG Computational Group research team, a trainer for the Bieliak Squadron and an AI/ML educator. She is affiliated with the DeepDive UG research circle, where she teaches original courses in programming and data science and develops interdisciplinary projects linking artificial intelligence to real-world social challenges. She combines research, technological and organizational skills, building teams and products with real social impact.
STARTER STUDENT HUB is a project supporting the entrepreneurship of male and female students of Tri-City universities with the participation of experienced business experts. All activities have been planned based on the results of research and interviews with students.
The project is aimed at male and female students of Tri-City universities who and which:
- want to expand their knowledge in the business field without having to decide to start their own business,
- are thinking of starting a company, but are still at the stage of looking for a business idea or sources of financing.
The project was funded by the City of Gdansk.
